THE SCIENCE OF LAGREE FITNESS

SLOW TWITCH MUSCLE FIBRES

Slow-twitch muscle fibres enable long-endurance feats. The Lagree Fitness training method focuses on activating these slow-twitch fibres through slow-paced, fat burning movements that lead to long, lean muscle development.

SLOW CONTROLLED MOVEMENTS

Slower = harder! Slow and controlled movements have many benefits. They maximize the effort required for both directions of a movement (the push and the pull, the in and the out) by removing momentum from the equation. Slow movements also get you to muscle failure (a good thing) faster, leading to more defined muscle development and increased stamina. The slower you move, the better the results!

COUNTER-RESISTANCE

Counter?resistance with the Megaformer™ springs and weight of the carriage help to improve overall muscular strength.

New to the Megaformer? This is the class is a great introduction to our MegaKore classes. We’ll still run a full 45 minute class just at a slower pace with more information about the Lagree method and each individual exercise. We guarantee you’ll still get a workout!

MEGAKORE - ALL LEVELS

MEGAKORE - ALL LEVELS

This is our 45 minute class for all-levels. Expect to work your muscles to fatigue with planks, twists, pikes, lunges and crunches all done with a slow, controlled movement. Your muscles will burn and expect to sweat and shake.

MEGAKORE SHRED

MEGAKORE SHRED

This 50 minute class combines short intervals of bodyweight and kettlebell exercises with our traditional Lagree Fitness technique. Incorporating Kettlebell movements on and off the Megaformer plus pulsing body weight movements to increase the burn, this class provides you with the same ‘after burn’ effect while focusing on building strength and endurance.

Our private sessions and group classes are ideal for those who want to enjoy a more personalised workout. These 1 hour sessions are ideal for one-on-one training to work on perfecting your form. THE MEGAFORMER

The Megaformer is Lagree Fitness’ second generation of fitness equipment and has over 20 patents. The Megaformer is designed to include all fitness levels, all ages, and all body types. The Megaformer is the ultimate training machine.

MEGAFORMER M3 & M3S

The Megaformer M3 and Megaformer M3S are the 4th & 5th versions of the Megaformer. The machines are loaded with 8 springs and features a unique springs system located in the middle. The front and back handle bars are adjustable. 2 openings are located at the back of the carriage for hands or feet positioning. In addition, the carriage has a stability bar along side.
