LAGREE FITNESS & THE MEGAFORMER

In 2019 The Lagree Fitness Method was named the fastest-growing fitness trend in the US by Fitness booking app, ClassPass.

The reason Lagree Fitness is so effective is because it targets the 5 key elements of fitness; core, endurance, cardio, balance, strength and flexibility training. Using variable resistance on the Megaformer, each class will provide a low-impact, high intensity workout like no other.

The combination of using slow, controlled movements, working muscles to failure and eliminating rest periods (time under tension) create a workout that burns the maximum number of calories in a minimal amount of time. You will notice quick results in developing muscle tone and strength. Best of all, the effective intensity can always be adapted, preventing clients from ever reaching a training plateau.

The Megaformer is Lagree Fitness second generation of fitness equipment and has over 80 patents.

 

The Megaformer M3 and Megaformer M3S are the 4th & 5th versions of the Megaformer. The machines are loaded with 8 springs and features a unique springs system located in the middle. The front and back handle bars are adjustable. 2 openings are located at the back of the carriage for hands or feet positioning. In addition, the carriage has a stability bar along side.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

MegaKore All Levels

This is our 45 minute class for all-levels. Expect to work your muscles to fatigue with planks, twists, pikes, lunges and crunches all done with a slow, controlled movement. Your muscles will burn and expect to sweat and shake.

MegaKore Basics

New to the Megaformer? This is the class is a great introduction to our MegaKore classes. We’ll still run a full 45 minute class just at a slower pace with more information about the Lagree method and each individual exercise. We guarantee you’ll still get a workout!

MegaKore Shred

This 50 minute class combines short intervals of bodyweight and kettlebell exercises with our traditional Lagree Fitness technique. Incorporating Kettlebell movements on and off the Megaformer plus pulsing body weight movements to increase the burn, this class provides you with the same ‘after burn’ effect while focusing on building strength and endurance.

MegaKore All-Levels

This is our 45 minute signature class for all-levels.

Expect to work your muscles to fatigue with planks, twists, pikes, lunges and crunches all done with a slow, controlled movement on the Megaformer.

We recommend attending this class at least 2 or 3 times a week to achieve best results.

MegaKore Basics

New to the Megaformer? This 45 minute class is devoted to teaching the essential Lagree moves to prepare you for MegaKore All Levels.

A great introduction to the Lagree method, this class will run at a slower pace with more time devoted to the science behind Lagree Fitness and each individual exercise.

We recommend new clients attend this class at least once before booking in an All-Levels session.

MegaKore Shred

This 45 minute class combines the traditional Lagree Fitness technique with short intervals of kettlebells, dumbbells or bodyweight exercises.  Or all three!

This intense class still provides the same ‘after burn’ effect as our All-Levels class but with the added bonus of increased heart rate and a little bit more sweat.

We recommend attending at least 3-4 of our All-Levels classes prior.

Intro to K-Kore

This beginner class starts with an introduction to the Lagree Method, the Megaformer and K-Kore which will guide you through the foundation Lagree moves.

This is an instructional class (as opposed to a full class) that gets participants acquainted and comfortable with the workout.

We recommend you take this class once to best set yourself up for either a MegaKore Basics or MegaKore All-Levels class.
